A 360 degree view of the Old Town Square in Warsaw, Poland. Much of this was built by Stalin right after WWII. Dan and I found this to be a great place to eat, drink, and people watch.
Here’s me playing a laser harp at the Copernicus Interactive Science Museum in Warsaw, Poland. I don’t think I have ‘playing the harp’ in my future.
A tour group of Israeli teenagers walk down the train tracks at Birkenau (Auschwitz II) carrying Israeli flags. A very powerful scene:
Thousands and thousands of shoes belonging to the victims of Auschwitz/Birkenau. These are only those that were found at the death camp by the Soviets; presumably there are millions of other shoes belonging to other victims. Very sobering.
My tour group walking up the outside of the Wawel Castle. You can also notice a brief glimpse of Dan Smith, the Scottish guy I was traveling with, along with an according player who was pissed off I recorded him and yelled something at me in Polish.
Killing a beer with Dan, Emma, and Lina at the Market Square in Krakow, Poland. I think the (locally brewed) beer cost just $2.
